Description
The Locking Shaft Collar MAXSpline is a compact, purpose built clamping solution for securing components to a MAXSpline shaft. Designed as a thin aluminum plate, it can be paired with a second collar or mounted directly to any MAXSpline wheel or sprocket that features standard nut pocket slots. The collar uses an internal wedge mechanism that engages as the assembly is tightened. As the collar is drawn toward its mating plate or wheel, the wedges cause a counter twisting action between it and its interface thus creating a strong, reliable grip on the MAXSpline profile.
Using common #10-32 hardware and nyloc nuts, teams can create a highly rigid interface for drivetrains, intakes, linear systems, or any mechanism requiring a solid axial lock on a MAXSpline shaft. The result is a lightweight, low profile, and repeatable solution that integrates cleanly into existing MAXSpline ecosystem components.
