Description
MAXSpline Shaft Collars provide mechanical retention for components mounted on MAXSpline Shaft and use a two piece aluminum clamping design for secure attachment. Both versions are black anodized for durability and integrate cleanly within the REV ION System. The narrow profile collar is intended for applications with strict space or weight constraints. It uses M3 hardware to minimize overall size, resulting in a 0.25in wide collar with a 1.88in outer diameter. Its compact geometry allows it to retain parts on the shaft without interfering with nearby mechanisms, and the two piece design enables installation without removing other components from the shaft.
The larger MAXSpline Shaft Collar is designed for both retention and mechanical integration with other ION components. It includes two sets of three #10 clearance holes on a 0.5in pitch, allowing it to be fastened directly to sprockets, plates, and other MAXSpline compatible parts. This enables the collar to serve as both a clamp and a mounting interface for structural or rotational elements. With a 0.5in thickness and a 2.63in outer diameter, it provides a larger contact area and higher clamping capability for applications that require additional strength or component mounting features.
