Description
The MAXPlanetary Universal Input Stage V2 is a redesigned mounting solution for integrating a wide range of FRC motors into the MAXPlanetary System. Built as the next evolution of the original universal input stage, V2 enhances strength, expands motor compatibility, and enables even more compact gearbox configurations.
This updated input stage introduces a new 1.375 inch bolt circle that supports additional motor bolt patterns. CIM class mounting has been clocked to 45 degrees, allowing the flats of the NEO 2.0 Brushless Motor to sit flush against the housing. This refinement creates impressively compact assemblies while improving ease of integration across robot subsystems.
To increase durability and ensure a rigid interface between the motor, the input stage, and the gearbox stack, the V2 design features mounting tabs that are twice as thick as the previous version. Whether you're building a lightweight mechanism or a high torque powertrain, the Universal Input Stage V2 delivers a secure and adaptable foundation for your MAXPlanetary build.
