International Logistics Manager

Job Summary:

REV Robotics is seeking an experienced, self-driven International Logistics Manager to lead, develop, and direct our international warehousing and 3PL expansion over the course of the next several years. This person will be expected to learn and improve upon our current logistics processes and develop new strategies for all inbound and outbound international shipments, including shipments to our logistics partners and shipments from our logistics partners directly to customers. The International Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing the long term successful relationships between REV and our third party logistics partners while ensuring continuous operational improvements through teamwork and the use of data driven key performance metrics. REV is committed to providing quality, low-cost educational robotics parts for STEM Education, and the International Logistics Manager should utilize their skills as necessary in order to support that mission

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and execution of REV Robotics’ international distribution and supply chain activities across multiple vendors, 3PLs, and carriers
  • Evaluate and lead automation and general system improvements across all channels of REV’s Logistics
  • Manage necessary day to day tasks to properly communicate with our international logistics partners, including 3PL warehouses, and carriers
  • Primary contact for troubleshooting and resolving any day-to-day logistics system issues
  • Establish and measure critical metrics that drive efficiency, control costs, maintain accurate inventory, and encourage top supply chain performance for our 3PL and logistics partners
  • Evaluate emerging business needs and act to address near-term and long-term opportunities to improve service, reduce costs and/or generate incremental revenue across all avenues of REV’s logistics
  • Manage costs, timescales, resources used, and execute corrective actions where these deviate from agreed commitments and deliverables
  • Oversee Trade Compliance actions necessary to maintain proper Classification, Valuation, CoO, Licensing requirements, distribution and storage requirements for hazardous materials such as Li-Ion batteries, etc.
  • Act as backup for supervising and managing our Carrollton warehouse and warehouse staff when Warehouse Manager is unavailable
  • May help represent REV at events
  • Other responsibilities as needed to ensure that the goals of REV are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Supply Chain and Logistics Operation Management required
  • BS/BA degree with a concentration in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred
  • Experience with Ecommerce platforms and systems, such as BigCommerce, SKUVault, ShipStation, or other similar ERP and WMS systems
  • Experience with integrating WMS systems with other 3PL logistics systems
  • Experience in process design/engineering with a sound understanding of design for fulfillment principles
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience analyzing large data sets and creating summaries or reports accurately presenting large data sets
  • Extremely detail-oriented, and able to effectively check both your own or others' work before presenting information
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Advanced problem-solving skills including analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong skills with office computer applications and cloud-based services (Word, Email, G-Suite, etc.)
  • Must have the ability to follow directions, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including remote meetings with international customers or vendors at times outside of standard US business hours

Compensation:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year depending on experience, potentially higher for exceptional candidates. Regular, full-time position including benefits (health insurance, 401k, etc)

Work Schedule:

Generally, 40 hours per week.
