The Servo Power Module is a 6V 90W power injector that enables the use of high-power RC servos in applications where a robot controller cannot directly provide adequate power. The Servo Power Unit passes through input signals unaltered while providing up to 90W of total output power across all six channels. The input and output channels accept standard 3-wire 0.1” pitch servo/PWM cables.
This power module will be indispensable to teams needing to get the most juice for their high power servos. This takes you back up to the full 6V and supports a total draw of 15amps across all 6 possible servos. Thats 3X what the MR Servo Module could sustain. We haven't actually drawn that much power yet, but it did boost our steering servos with enough power so that they could turn the wheels even when our test bot is not moving. That wasn't possible when we were drawing directly from the the Expansion Hub's 5V ports. See it in action on our REV Robot Reveal video: https://youtu.be/xKBQLFgNkKk Iron Reign on Sep 6th 2017
