Manufacturing Engineering Intern/Co-op

Job Summary:

This college student intern will provide manufacturing engineering assistance for wide array of
products and parts. This will include developing quality control procedures, implementing a logging
system for IQC at REV, and creating jigs for assembly and testing. This position will work directly
with REV engineers and administration, and may require a variety of tasks throughout the day. REV
is committed to providing quality, low-cost educational robotics parts for STEM Education, and the
Manufacturing Engineering Intern should utilize their skills as necessary in order to support that
mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Help Develop quality control procedures for REV Robotics manufacturing partners
  • Help to Create a logging and documentation systems for products entering REV facilities
  • Implement a quality control tracking system for vendors and parts
  • Develop assembly and testing gauges for new and existing products
  • Other responsibilities as needed to ensure that the goals of REV are met

Requirements:

  • Must be current student enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program working towards a degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Must have CAD design experience (SOLIDWORKS preferred)
  • Must have the ability to follow directions, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Work with a flexible schedule and demonstrate effective time management
  • Applicants with FIRST Robotics experience will be given preference.

Compensation:

$10 - $20 per hour, depending on experience. Temporary position without benefits.

Work Schedule:

Generally up to 40 hours per week. Part-time positions may be available, depending on project(s).
